Volodymyr «Vova» Ivanov is a cinematographer based in Berlin and Kyiv. He is equally comfortable shooting independent  arthouse films, working on fast-paced TV-Series production or realizing  large scale period and historical dramas as well as Sci-Fi features involving sophisticated SFX/VFX. His stylistic skills and experience range from grungy music videos and noir thrillers to vivid children fantasy films and glamorous commercials.

Films shot by Volodymyr have been presented and got awarded on a number of international film festivals such as Cannes, TIFF (Toronto), British Independent Film Award, REMI (Houston),etc.

Among his commercial client are Garnier, Friday Insurance Agency, Samsung, Atelier Pfister Swiss, Johnson & Johnson, ProCredit Bank.

Volodymyr holds a Master of Fine Arts in Cinematography from the  Film University Konrad Wolf, Babelsberg, Germany and a Bachelor in Cinematography from Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University, Ukraine.
